Norah has revised her album Future World in order to slightly improve the title track. We are now pleased to bring you this new version, which is available as a free / pay-what-you-like download from Bandcamp.
Terse Greetings 2015 is a seasonal compilation on Tom Ellard’s Terse label (established 1979, now definitely active again). You can download it for free from Bandcamp. It has tracks by Carya Amara, Norah Lorway, Tom Ellard, Lagowski, Cousin Silas and many others (see below!).
[Update, 23rd Dec. 2015: a new version of this album is now available]
Future World is Norah’s third album and the second for the Earthrid label. It is a result of numerous aspects of her flourishing work in composition, research and live performance and illustrates the transformation of both sound and musical styles resulting from her adept use of music programming languages.
The atmospheres and rhythms here will mean different things to different listeners, so all that Norah modestly says about this release is that it is “more music from code”. So we leave the final word with Eleanor Roosevelt. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”.
These 5 tracks (totalling 41 minutes) are available as a free / pay-what-you-like download from Bandcamp.
