As a non meat eater not sure I really understand what this is, and it would seem potentially more complex and expensive to 'grow' meat than animals, but I'm no scientist...
An easier solution would be to encourage people to try meat substitutes, which are less resource intensive to produce.
Not moralistic, just practical.
Call me old fashioned but I don't like the idea of a 'brave new world' steak to go with my new world wine...

I enjoyed the programme. The 'at home with Chris & Cosy' was fun - domestic bliss amongst memories of corpses? I'd rather a story told however coloured than a bland approach taken, and for someone who was too young to remember how it happened the first time it was a useful snapshot. It did seem like a golden age for electronic music born from social discontent, and quite a stark contrast to all the 'new romantics' pop rubbish that came after.
The Krautrock doc also excellently produced as a piece of film - but with some odd and poorly edited music selections which did little to make we want to go out and buy any record at the end of it.

Great stuff! Yes shock horror, BBC finally make TV for people like us. The various programmes about vintage electronics like 'Micromen' and 'electric dreams' have been great too. Wondering if Genesis P will actual feature in Synth Britannia in interview. I doubt it. Mind you, nowadays he comes across more like Barbara Windsor - quite Beeb friendly.
