Here is a side to Covolux that has not been heard before. The mood is ostensibly lighter and brighter, but the palpable feeling of mystery remains. Original music and field recordings are mixed with the sonic remains of vintage self-help cassettes that have experienced transformation and rebirth in the hands of Covolux. ‘Tape Therapy’ offers a surprising, surreal and yet strangely soothing experience. If fleeting sensations of mirth, confusion or slight unease should arise, try reversing your head.
